Cherry Blossom Time at the NC KWV Memorial

01 April 2014 ~~  The Japanese cherry trees are in full bloom, and that’s not an April fool’s joke!

Mint Hill Veterans Memorial Park  has a new fresh look, not just because it’s springtime , but because of the Memorial. The  colors of the American flag , topped with the Golden Eagle,  appear brighter than the companion flags.   The chocolate-colored brick-wall,  topped with evergreen boxwood  shrubbery gives way to the gray granite walkways and the two granite  GI stand guard. The entire area is surrounded by  the pink / white Japanese cherry blossoms.

Try to visit the Memorial and  witness the finishing touches, that only God can paint!
